Outlier Jets assists Jet Card client acquire Hawker 800XPi

The principal had previously worked with the Outlier team for a number of years- first as a charter client and later progressing to a jet card member. As the Member and his family’s need for flying privately included both leisure and business travel, the number of flight hours per annum with the Outlier Team quickly exceeded 75 per year.  The client then decided to explore whole aircraft ownership and take the next steps with the guidance of our experts. 

The Outlier team was able to secure a well-priced off-market Hawker 800XPi, located in the New York metro area. From there, the Outlier Team called upon our network of legal, tax and technical support professionals. The acquisition process included full on-site reviews of the flight logs, maintenance records and our independent tech representatives guided the pre-purchase inspection to allow for a confident technical acceptance of the aircraft.  

The Hawker 800XPi complete with winglets is a  well-known 9-seat aircraft with near transcontinental range and excellent operational pedigree will perform 75-125 hours for owner utilization and 300-400 hours of charter per annum. The charter revenue will subsidize much of the owner’s fixed and variable costs, allowing the owner to fly privately for ~$2,000-2,500 per hour. This private jet is immediately available for Outlier Member’s flight missions and will join the Outlier Jets Certified Network of aircraft.
